Mission Statement

We are committed to the continuous development of a collaborative work environment whereby the value and respect of career employees is elevated through increased recognition, involvement and opportunities to achieve a higher level of excellence.

Objectives

The objectives of this Council shall be to:

1. Promote the welfare of the career employees and the College as a whole.
2. Provide career employees with direct communication to the District Board of Trustees, the College President, and other administrative staff.
3. Respond to the concerns of the career employees in matters of common interest.
4. Represent career employees on college wide councils and committees.
5. Assist in the development of College policies and operational procedures.
6. Represent the career employees in matters concerning the total College community.
7. Conduct ongoing studies and make recommendations on policies and procedures for:
   1. Compensation
   2. Evaluation process
   3. Policies and Procedures as related to career employees
   4. Other College projects; functions, as assigned by the College President
